The Caravan 027: Shark?

This past Tuesday I met up with my friend Paul Cherashore to see a band we've both been obsessed with.  Paul is wonderful and full of great ideas.  He's the person who inspired the Knickerbocker Circus Social Experiment

See, that's Paul right there, second from the left. And well, he's got great taste in music.  So we agreed to meet up in Williamsburg and go.  Shark? is a band that once you hear them you just can't stop listening to, or in my case googling.  Luckily is my new favorite website so it didn't take that long.  Shark? has amazing energy live and is really one of the best up and coming bands out there.  So do yourself a favor and have a listen here.  Special thanks to Kevin for being super awesome.

Paul took this photo w/ his phone at Bruar Falls

He also took this one of me as black shadows rise out of my dress.

He also got me this t-shirt which I then proceeded to cut the collar off.  I'm not a fan of collars on shirts, but I sure am a fan of this.

Paramicha 07: Music to Paint To

I've been painting and doing readings all week.  In the meantime, here's a playlist, incase you're painting too. I'll have new art posted soon.

Paramicha 03: Death Card Soundtrack

I'm ghosting it tonight.  Trying to finish the Death Card this evening, made the unfortunate mistake of tearing off part of it and now starting over.  Oh, it's fine, I didn't like the color scheme in the first one anyway. So excuse me for a moment while I set the reset button on certain areas of my life and hot wire others.

And for those of you wondering where my other playlists went, myspace ate imeem and devoured all my playlists as well.  Hopefully they'll get it sorted out so I can go on about my day without getting angry over lost music.

En Gypsy Couture 06: Trinkets

Last night Mercury and Saturn brought together an evening of incredible intuitive energy mixed with inner elders and fairytale meditations.  Plus the night carried very special energy as an important meeting discussing stem cell research was taking place the same time our class was convening.  It's been a really magical time as of late.  The tarot deck is coming along splendidly and the classes I am teaching with Sherene are going remarkably well.  Everything is in motion, although communication is a bit off.  I'll just say that the upcoming retrograde is poking it's way in a little early.

Mercury turns retrograde December 26th, 2009 at 21 Capricorn - 10:32 am EST
Mercury turns direct January 15th, 2010 at 5 Capricorn - 12:48 pm EST

For a little advice on how to cope with those pesky retrogrades take a look at our Constellation blog on coping with retrogrades.

Many wonderful things have been showing up in the mail as well as in person. Belly dance Goddess Blanca recently brought a gorgeous box of jewels to the class.  Blanca has a wonderful sense of style and any gift from her is truly a blessing.  The beautiful necklaces pictured below are from her as well as the wonderful bracelet.  Another surprise was the gorgeous glass hummingbird that made it's way to me from Galina Krasskova.  Hummingbirds have always been close to my heart as they represent a pure love.  Other wonderments to arrive were Richard Kadrey's Sandman Slim which I will recommend to everyone.  It is an incredibly entertaining read and almost impossible to put down and Dame Darcy's Death by Doll cd.

I'm back to painting tarot tonight.  I'l be posting cards I need reference and models for so keep your eyes open for the post.

x to the o,
