Dreams Are Real 06: What Inspires You?
Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:42PM
It's Saturday night and I'm going through my files for inspiration. What new things are we brewing here in the Caravan? Well, Scarlet O' Hoodoo will be here soon, bringing you mojo bags, original art, charms, readings, pulp fiction, mojo bottles, and a new blog full of divination tips, Native American moon names, the language of animals, and secret spells. My good friend Lonesome Liz will be writing the perilous tales of Scarlet O' Hoodoo, (a character she came up with based on yours truly), Detective Lonesome Liz, and the love interest of Scarlet herself (TBA). It's bound to be filled with 1950's film noir effects and Twilight Zone like scenerios, and hoodunits, all while offering up all of your hoodoo needs. So here's a little of what is inspiring me these days. What is inspiring you?
Music by Jill Tracy, directed by Bill Domonkos.
A lavish chiaroscuro montage of 2D and 3D animation, still photography and hand drawn images, "The Fine Art Of Poisoning" seduces the viewer into an elegant netherworld of deceit, plotting, and secretly-served revenge.
Max Rabe performs Friedrich Hollaender's & Rudolf Nelson's famous cabaret song "Das Nachtgespenst" (The Bogeyman) from 1930 in Ilona Ziok's internationally awarded musical film "Kurt Gerron's KARUSSELL"
