Pimp My Artwork 021: 8 of Swords

The 8 of swords indicates confusion, frustration, lack of direction, and feeling bound or lost. Often the querent is overwhelmed by a situation and just doesn't have the clarity to take the next step. Sometimes the querent is afraid to take that first step. Often we know what we have to do but, our fear of stepping out of the "comfort zone" keeps us bound to it, unable to move. We are waiting for someone else to make the first move, to save ius. This card teaches us that is up to the individual to make that first step. The more you allow yourself to get into a negative thought process. The more stuck you become. You can't expect anyone to save you, for a knight to come riding in on a white horse, or feel like anything you do just won't work out. Take innitiative and create your own path. You only have one life. Don't waste it.

I definitely identify with this. As impetuous and wild as I can be, sometimes I get stuck even taking that first step in any process. I get overwhelmed, end up doing nothing, and kick myself for it.
This is a gorgeous picture, too. The red is the perfect shade.
