Just a small town girl who grew up around a lot of corvettes and drum sets.  That same girl eventually got older, moved to the city, became a pinup model/artist, and started her own company.

Killin' It 016: BackStage AZ Araujo Fashion Show

Thank you to my friend Gabriel Velez for his wonderful photographs.  I'll be writing a blog and an article on Blue Michael and AZ Araujo for the upcoming Constellation with photos by the multi-talented Melissa Dowell. Images from the runway will be up on the Constellation blog soon.

Hello Lovely!
One day I searched "Alchemy" on the Authur Mag website, which led me to a write up about Aemen Bell, which led me to her website, which led me to Constellation Magazine which led me to you!!! (wow, was that a run on sentence, or what!?) So happy I found you! I've been loving all things "Katelan V. Foisy"! I just added you to my blog roll under the category "Sister Moons & Muses".

A bit about me...my spiritual stats:

*Hereditary Witch ~ maternal side
*Libra Sun, Virgo Moon, Sagittarius Rising
*Celtic Birth Tree ~ Hazel
*Birth Totem ~ Crow (although some say Owl)
*Gifted Medium
*Tarot Reader 20 years (started at 14)
*Priestess of Isis (Yemaya, Mary...Moon Goddess)
*I love Kali too, I have her tattooed on my whole half sleeve!

I used to own and operate an Intuitive Art Gallery called "Backburner" and an Occult Shop called BELOVED, both in Chicago. You can read a little about that here: http://ladylavona.blogspot.com/2008/10/california-dreaming.html

I would LOVE to collaborate with you on anything, anytime! You know where to find me!

love & magick!

Lavona!
So nice to meet you! Wow we have much in common and Aemen is a wonderful friend of mine. She participated in They Be We, a book of self-portraits that I compiled and I am a huge fan of her tinctures.

I'm a hereditary witch on my mothers side too! I come from a long line of mystics and healers. The mediumship comes from both my Mother and my Father's side. Mother's side saw spirits and Father's side held seances.

I am a Taurus with Leo rising and moon in Capricorn. My celtic birth tree is the Hawthorne, Birth totem is the beaver but My main animal totems are wolf and snake. Hawk comes into my life a lot as well as crow, owl, and raven but I feel most connected to wolf and snake.

I started reading when I was in 6th grade so again we have that same connection. I am a child of Eleggua but I have a deep connection to Kali & Oshun. My Godfather's Godfather was crowned Yemaya, and my Godfather is Obatala with Eleggua as a father.

Oh I so wished you lived here. NYC is in desperate need of a shop like BELOVED. I love the Botanica's here in NY and some of the witchy shops are cool, although they seem to be less and less. I always dreamed of having a nice book/witch shop here. When I first moved here there was The Magical Child. For me I would really love to see a shop come here that was about building a community, offering services, and being aesthetically beautiful. Magical Realms has an upstairs at Original Products which is cool but they are also in the Bronx which made some people shy away from the circles there. People are so funny about traveling to other boroughs.

Yes! Let's collaborate! I would absolutely love to! I am so glad you found me and my baby Constellation! I absolutely adore everything you've been doing and I LOVE your etsy shop.
